Topic:  Scars of Safety:  In this conversation, we dive into how simple decisions can lead to life altering accidents. Ryan discusses how 1 coworker 20 years ago, lead to 16 broken bones, numerous surgeries, and a lifetime of pain, and how from that event, a safety career was born.

Speaker: Ryan Word, Construction Safety manager with FTI, a national electrical solutions contractor

Bio:  Ryan has been a safety professional for over 10 years and currently serves at the president of the ASSP Nicolet Chapter in Wisconsin. Along with a full-time career, Ryan also has a full house, serves as the disaster action team coordinator for the American Red Cross in Wisconsin, is the Cub Master of Scouting America Pack 3003 in Menasha, and a full-time college student.
