Topic:  Human Factors with AI and Emerging Technologies — Value of humans within systems

Speaker: Nichole Morris, University of Minnesota

Nichole is the Director of the Human Factors Safety Laboratory and Associate Research Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. She is also a research scholar at the Center for Transportation Studies, a graduate faculty member of the UMN Human Factors and Ergonomics Program, and a member of the Translational Center for Resuscitative Trauma Care. Dr. Morris joined the University of Minnesota in 2011. Since that time, she has led over 25 research studies on topics ranging from in-vehicle technologies, infrastructure design, crash reporting, and combat medicine performance gaps.
